The Malie Jewelry shop and studio is located in the small beach town of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica - where lush tropical jungle meets the ocean. You’ll find me at Plaza Las Palmas, right in the heart of town.
More than just a shop, this space is where ideas take shape and pieces come to life. You’re welcome to stop by, explore the collection in person, and experience the process up close.
Each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted here in the studio, with attention to detail and intention behind every design. Most designs are one of a kind or part of small batches - created to be worn, loved, and kept as personal treasures.
All materials and packaging are carefully selected, with a focus on natural and low-impact choices, including 100% cotton and recycled paper.

About
My name is Marie, I’m an Austrian-born jewelry designer, living in Costa Rica since 2018 - a place I now call home after following my heart and moving here for love.
My journey into jewelry began while traveling through Mexico, where I studied silversmithing at the Sterling Quest School in San Miguel de Allende. With a background in graphic design, I’ve always been drawn to clean lines, balance, and thoughtful details. Jewelry became a natural extension of that passion - transforming ideas into wearable pieces that feel both personal and timeless.
Each piece is handcrafted by me, either as a one-of-a-kind creation or in small, carefully made batches. I primarily work with recycled sterling silver, occasionally also with 10k and 14k gold, along with carefully sourced natural semi-precious and precious gemstones.
My designs explore the space between geometric clarity and organic softness - resulting in jewelry that feels playful, elegant, and feminine, yet effortless to wear.
I also love bringing personal visions to life through custom pieces, creating meaningful jewelry made to be treasured for years to come.
